The Dedham Museum & Archive is located in the heart of historic Dedham Square. The DM&A houses an important collection and extensive archive related to the history of the town and the nation. We look forward to your visiting and learning about this shire town, the seat of Norfolk County, incorporated in 1636. 

The Dedham Museum & Archive was renamed from the Dedham Historical Society & Museum in 2022.

Parking: There is parking along High Street and throughout Dedham Square, including at a free public lot a few blocks away at the junction of High Street and Eastern Avenue (from the museum, head toward Dedham Square and the lot is at the traffic light beyond the Community Theatre).

Accessibility

The 1888 museum building, archive, and restrooms are accessible only by using stairs.
