Hi
Which houses are shown?
Dear Alex;
Due to privacy issues we do not publish the addresses of the private homes prior to the event. However, I can tell you they are all on wonderful historic streets near the DHS. The day of the tour you should come by the Society offices where you will pick up your ticket and map. All of the houses are within walking distance except for the Fairbanks House. If you have any further questions please email or call me 781-326-1385

..hello..i have a tercentenary celebration coin–1636-1936–and i decided to look up your town. it’s very interesting to say the least,as i live in cape breton,ns so i had to figure out how and who was there for the time…and with a few questions from relatives,i found out my great aunt(MacVicar) looked after an older man in the town of Dedham.She had a hole put in the coin to wear it around her neck so i guess it meant a lot to her…..oh and there is an engraving of the old fairbanks home on the front.As a collector of coins from all over the globe and even a 1607 coin from louisburgh to newfoundland,nova scotia coins and yes quite a few old american coins i’m really proud to have this town of dedham tercentenary coin.—Mac
My grand mother was given a tri-centennial (1636-1936) coin in 1952 when she visited MA. My family are from the Uk (Yorkshire, Lincolnshire and Scotland). Found the web site of Fairbanks house fascinating and the history of the family. Are these coins rare ? It is fantastic to hold such a lovely piece of history. I wonder if the Fairbanks knew the Marriott family as they too were Mormons.
